  • CAN I SWITCH CAMP/CLASS SESSIONS/WEEKS?

    Change requests are generally disruptive to the smooth operations of our children's programs and camp sessions, but we understand there may be an unanticipated need to request a change.

    Up to 14 days prior to the first day of your session, IF WE CAN FILL YOUR ORIGINAL SPOT, and if there is availability in the week you'd like to switch to, then we will accommodate your request to switch, but you will be charged a $75 processing fee.

    If your request to change occurs AFTER 14 days prior to the first day, we may not be able to accommodate your request to change your session.

  • DO I STAY WITH MY TODDLER/PRESCHOOLER DURING CLASS?

    Toddler classes (2's and 3's) are for children with a parent or caregiver.

    Preschool classes (4-6) are designed for children without a caregiver.  However, parents are welcome to attend with their children based on your/their comfort level.

  • MY CHILD HAS ATTENDED PREVIOUSLY; IS HIS/HER HEALTH FORM STILL ON FILE?

    Health forms are good for three years from the date of the physical exam. So, if your child attended camp last year, it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CALL OUR OFFICE to see if your health form is still valid. If a camper has not submitted a valid health form by two weeks prior to the start of the camp session, he/she will not be permitted to attend camp, and all camp fees may be forfeited 100%. No exceptions.

  • ARE CELL PHONES ALLOWED?

    NO! Please leave cell phones at home. They are easily lost, broken, even dropped in animal poop and water buckets! We have a farm phone for any camper who needs it!

  • DO YOU HAVE A NURSE ON SITE?

    Yes! She is on site during all camp hours. She will gladly answer all questions and concerns pertaining to allergies, medications, safety, etc. If you are sending medication with your child, you and your doctor MUST complete the proper medication form, and the medication container supplied must have a valid expiration date and be in the original container.

  • DO YOU CATER TO SPECIFIC DIETARY NEEDS OR ALLERGIES?

    Flamig Farm provides snack and lunch, announced in advance by a weekly menu. If your child is not able to eat what is provided, you may send a bag lunch. Although Flamig Farm does not serve nuts, including peanuts, it does not control what others may bring.

  • WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR TO CLASS/CAMP?

    Children should wear comfortable, close-toed shoes. NO SANDALS and rubber boots are not comfortable and give blisters!  We ask that they dress in washable, sturdy clothes like farmers do. Kids will get DIRTY! On hike days for campers, water shoes are recommended. Rain or shine, dress for the weather; farmers are active outside on all days!

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD FOR CLASS/CAMP?

    Come anyway, and dress for the conditions! There are still eggs to be gathered and animals to feed. Camp and farms continue rain or shine. However, in the case of severe or dangerous weather (we will send an email alert as soon as possible), do not send your child. If such weather approaches after drop off, pick up your child at your discretion. Campers will be appropriately sheltered until your arrival.

  • WHAT ARE THE CHILDREN'S PROGRAM CLASS TIMES?

    Toddler classes (2's and 3's) are held on Monday,Tuesday and Friday  Mornings. Two classes are offered. The early class begins at 9:30 and ends at 10:45. The second class begins at 10:15 and ends at 11:30.

    Preschool classes (4-6) are held on Tuesday afternoons from 12:30 to 2:00.

  • WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY FOR CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS AND CAMPS?

    Sessions will be held rain or shine.  In the event of rain, class will be held in the farm's party room.  If hayrides or pony rides are cancelled, we will issue you a free pony ride ticket to be used on the weekends at the farm.

    Because of the short duration of the children's programs and camps, no refunds or make-up dates are possible for illness.

    For camp, if you cancel up to two weeks before the first date of your session AND WE CAN FILL YOUR SPOT, we will refund your payment minus a $75 processing fee. Once a camp session begins, there are NO REFUNDS.

  • IS IT SAFE TO USE MY CREDIT CARD ONLINE?

    Online payment via credit card is secure, fast, easy and will guarantee that your registration is processed immediately. We are using a Certificate: 128-bit SSL encryption.
    You may have read or heard about security risks in online transactions; Your security is a major concern for us. To protect your information, our security features include:  All purchases are made via secure connection using SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology. SSL encrypts any data you enter, including credit card information.  So that it may not be viewed by third parties while being submitted.  
    We do not store your credit card number anywhere in our database. It is used solely at the time of purchase to process your transaction.
