Young Chefs' Summer Camp: Breakfast
 

Class Description:  In this hands-on, 3-day camp, your child will learn to make a number of foods inspired by our favorite thing, breakfast.  Our instructors will guide them through making each recipe while they also learn important kitchen functions such as safety and sanitation.  Instructors will focus on teaching your children techniques, not just a recipe, that will last a lifetime.

Camp runs June 19th through June 21st from 10 am to 12:30pm.  The cost for all three days is $150.

On the Menu:
Day one—Learn how to make traditional Quiche with a pie crust , a crustless Quiche and Fruit salad to accompany your Quiche.


Day two—Learn how to French Toast. —in a casserole, and the traditional method as well as scrambled eggs, home fries and fruit compote


Day Three—Learn how to make Pancakes, Waffles, Hash Brown Casserole and cook Bacon and Sausage

What to Expect:  Our Young Chefs classes are designed for students aged 8 to 12 and feature menus that are appropriate for this age group.  These classes are hands-on.  The students will work together to create the menu guided by our chef instructors.

  • Class is designed for students 8 to 12 years old.
  • Class will run about 2.5 hours in length unless otherwise noted.
  • Students will be standing for a significant portion of class.  Closed toed and comfortable shoes are recommended.  Long hair should be pulled back.
  • Students receive a coupon good for 10% off in-store purchases the day of class.
  • Students will enjoy a generous taste of each dish.

Kids' Camp: Italian Adventure
 

Ciao!, and welcome to the one-of-a-kind Italian Adventure Kids Camp! Over three exciting days, children ages 8-12 will embark on a culinary journey through the vibrant flavors of Italy. From crafting fresh pasta to mastering the art of pizza-making, each day promises hands-on learning, delicious creations, and lasting memories.

Day 1: Pasta Passion

On the first day, budding chefs will dive into the world of pasta-making. Guided by experienced instructors, they will roll up their sleeves and learn to create authentic spaghetti and linguini from scratch. With a focus on technique and tradition, participants will also whip up two classic sauces: a rich tomato sauce bursting with flavor and a creamy Alfredo sauce to tantalize the taste buds.

Day 2: Pizza Party Extravaganza

Get ready for a pizza party extravaganza on day two! Children will knead, toss, and top their way to pizza perfection as they master the art of crafting homemade pizza dough. Kids' Camp: International Cuisine
 

All Board, young chefs, for a culinary trip around the world. Explore the world's great flavors in this three-day camp as you investigate the flavors and dishes of Mexico, Asia, and France. On this trip, you will develop a foundation for cooking that will benefit you for a lifetime coupled with an experience you will never forget. All kids ages 8-12 are invited to join the Chefs Amber Pier and Katie Moffitt in the Nibblins kitchen for this extraordinary experience. 

Day one—Learn how to make Mexican favorites such as quesadillas, tacos, and cinnamon chips and lots of toppings and salsas. Ole! (Hooray)

Day two—Learn how to make easy Asian favorites like Chicken with Broccoli, Fried Rice, and Almond Cookies. Kuàilè (Happy)

Day Three—Learn how to make French Bakery pastries. These will be both sweet and savory. Oui! Oui! (Yes, yes)

Kids Camp: Dessert Camp
 

 

August 9-11
Kids ages 8-12 are welcome to join us and classes run about two and a half hours. Each chef will take home a packet of the recipes they make. Share your love of cooking by giving them a foundation that will benefit them for a lifetime with an experience they’ll never forget.

Your Young Chefs will learn to finish meals off right with perfectly yummy desserts.
