Glazed and Confused

Ready to mix, pipe, fry, glaze, and taste your way through donut heaven? In this 2.5-hour class, join pastry chef Shanna Avila of Crumbs & Crumbles Bakery as she teaches you how to create three crowd-pleasing donut styles—fluffy yeast-raised donuts, tender baked cake donuts, and golden, craggy apple fritters. You’ll learn essential techniques for shaping, frying, baking, and finishing donuts with bakery-quality results.

What’s on the menu:

  • Yeast-Raised Donuts
Learn how to mix, proof, cut, and fry classic raised donuts—light, airy, and beautifully golden. You’ll finish them with glazes or sugar coatings for that perfect shine.
