Artisan Breads
 

Class Description: Join Crumbs & Crumbles Pastry Chef Shanna Avila for a relaxing afternoon of bread baking. You will learn basic techniques including mixing, fermentation processes, kneading, shaping, and proper baking. Breads will be rustic country loaves with unique flavors. This is a 3 hour interactive demonstration class.

What to Expect: This style of class allows you to be as involved in the cooking process as you would like. You are treated as the chef/instructor's assistant. Each menu is structured to accommodate some food preparation by the students. Many of the recipes will already have some ingredients prepared. This style allows you to mingle a bit more and interact with other students. Most of Nibblins cooking classes fall under this style.

• Class is designed for students 16 years or over.
• Class will run about 3 hours in length unless otherwise noted.
• Students will be standing for a significant portion of class. Closed toed and comfortable shoes are recommended. Long hair should be pulled back.
• Students receive a coupon good for 10% off in-store purchases the day of class.
• Students will enjoy a generous taste of each dish.

Come over to the other side of the counter to master cooking in our special participation classes.  For those who are interested in learning more about how to cook.  A Day in the Kitchen offers an in-depth mastery of specific culinary arts.  These classes are limited to six people.

This hands-on class will teach how to make and bake classic French pastries.  Learn how to roll out and fold into many flaky layers homemade buttery puff pastry and croissant dough.  These delicious doughs will be baked into pain au chocolat, palmiers, croissants and other scrumptious desserts.

Healthy Eating: Pumpkin Treats
 

Class Description:  Join us for a morning of healthy choices that may be suitable for those following Keto, Paleo, Low Carb, Gluten-Free or Low Sugar diets for cookies and ice cream with Nibblins co-owner Susan Dolinar who has lost over 70 lbs following a Ketogenic Diet.

On the Menu: Pumpkin Soup, Pumpkin Cake, and Pumpkin Coffee Cake

What to Expect:  This class is a demonstration class. This style allows you to sit back and enjoy the “demonstration/presentation” by the chef/instructor.  Attendees are not included in the preparation of the recipes for these menus.  The chef/instructor manages the flow of the class and the production of the meal along with our assistants.  Every effort is given to allow for a break in the middle of the class.

Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza
 

Class Description: In this interactive demonstration class you will learn from Blair Dolinar. Blair's experience comes from a childhood in Chicago where he learned to make traditional deep dish. He will teach you how to make two Gourmet Pizza Crusts and two Gourmet Sauces that you can use to make all kinds of pizza combinations. Then to round off the evening, a dessert pizza.

Perfect Pasta
 

Ready to learn the secret to perfect handmade pasta?

Make your own noodles with Blair Dolinar, co-owner of Nibblins, using a stand mixer, food processor and pasta machine. Blair will show you how to make hand cut pasta for  spaghetti with marinara sauce, and fettucine alfredo. 

This will be an Interactive Demonstration class.

 

All classes include menu, recipes, samples of the food prepared and complimentary beverages. All students receive a 10% discount off of store purchases for the class day and following day.  

For your safety, please wear flat, closed-toe shoes in our hands on classes.


This class is meant for students aged 16 years and older.
