Confident Cooking for Kids (ages 9-12)


This summer, bring your kids in for a 5-Day fun-filled hands-on culinary exploration. Working side-by-side with our expert instructors, junior chefs will learn kitchen basics while creating an amazing array of well-rounded meals and desserts


3 Hour Class (Two hours of hands-on classes end with a meal of everything students have prepared in class)


Day 1: Roasted Veggie Lasagna, Cream of Broccoli Soup, Zucchini Muffins, Raspberry or Strawberry Shortbread Cookie

 

Day 2: Chicken Enchiladas, Summer Squash Mac & Cheese, Guacamole, Strawberry Shortcake Cupcake

 

Day 3: TV Dinner: Meatloaf with Tomato Sauce, Potato Gratin, Roasted Garlic Green Beans, Cherry Pie with Homemade Pie Dough

 

Day 4:  Baked Potato and Bacon Soup, ,Spinach Artichoke Dip, Homemade Pita Bread, Nutella Cupcake

 

 

Day 5: Pizza Making Class: 2 different doughs, specialty toppings, eat and take home what you don’t eat, Chocolate Ice Cream

5 Day - Teens Cooking Series (Ages 13-17)
 

Confident Cooking for Teens (ages 13-17)


Teens will experience a 5-day fun-filled hands-on culinary exploration. Working side-by-side with our expert instructors, beginning chefs will learn kitchen basics while creating an amazing array of well-rounded meals and desserts


3 Hour Class (Two hours of hands-on classes end with a meal of everything students have prepared in class)


Day 1: A Taste of France

Introduction: knife skills, kitchen safety, sanitation. 
Salad lyonnaise (bacon and poached egg salad with salad greens)  
Chicken Cordon Bleu with Parmesan Dijon sauce (pan fried breaded chicken breast filled with ham and cheese.)  
Potatoes Au gratin (potato and cheese casserole) 

Brown butter crepes with Nutella and raspberry jam


Day 2: A Taste of Italy

 
Potato-leek soup with crispy bacon sour cream and chives 
Fresh made fettuccini with turkey ragu (fettuccini with a tomato turkey sauce) 
Roasted carrots and cauliflower with shaved parmesan cheese drizzled with a garlic infused olive oil 

Chocolate panna cotta with vanilla whipped cream and raspberries (fancy sweetened chocolate cream jello)

 

Day 3: A Taste of Mexico


Guacamole 
Pico de gallo (mild tomato salsa) 
Lime salted tortilla chips 
Chicken enchiladas with mild homemade red sauce 
Mexican red rice 

Churros with a chocolate dipping sauce


Day 4: A Taste of Japan

Sushi! 
California roll 
Baked salmon roll 
Baked tuna roll 
 
Green tea ice cream

 

Day 5: American Classics

American classics 
 
Cheeseburger with cheddar cheese lettuce, tomato, pickle, onions, mayonnaise on a sesame seed bun 
Three-Cheese mac and cheese
