Confident Cooking for Mini Chefs (For ages 9-12)


This summer, bring your Little Chefs in for a 5-Day fun-filled hands-on culinary exploration. Working side-by-side with our expert instructors, junior chefs will learn kitchen basics while creating an amazing array of well-rounded meals and desserts


3 Hour Class (Two hours of hands-on classes end with a meal of everything students have prepared in class)


Day 1: Housemade Chicken Nuggets, house made ranch and ketuchup for dipping. Tomtatoe soup, red velevet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting.

 

Day 2: Beef Tacos with fresh homemade Soft Tortillas,mexican rice, Guacamole, Mild Salsa,Mini Flan

 

Day 3: Beef sliders, house made french fries, Classic mac and cheese and sugar cookies with royal icing for decorating!

 

Day 4: Pizza Day! 2 different doughs various topping options. Take home what you do not eat! House made Choclate Ice Cream!

 

Day 5: Fettucini Alfredo – homemade pasta with white sauce, Homemade bread sticks, Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Introduction: knife skills, kitchen safety, sanitation. 
Salad lyonnaise (bacon and poached egg salad with salad greens)  
Chicken Cordon Bleu with Parmesan Dijon sauce (pan fried breaded chicken breast filled with ham and cheese.)  
Potatoes Au gratin (potato and cheese casserole) 

Brown butter crepes with Nutella and raspberry jam


Day 2: A Taste of Italy

 
Potato-leek soup with crispy bacon sour cream and chives 
Fresh made fettuccini with turkey ragu (fettuccini with a tomato turkey sauce) 
Roasted carrots and cauliflower with shaved parmesan cheese drizzled with a garlic infused olive oil 

Chocolate panna cotta with vanilla whipped cream and raspberries (fancy sweetened chocolate cream jello)

 

Day 3: A Taste of Mexico


Guacamole 
Pico de gallo (mild tomato salsa) 
Lime salted tortilla chips 
Chicken enchiladas with mild homemade red sauce

Churros with a chocolate dipping sauce
