🎨 Adult Painting Nights at Paint Monkey

Looking for time that’s just for you? Step away from the kids, the chores, and the daily grind—it’s your turn. At Paint Monkey, our adult classes are about more than learning acrylics…they’re about unwinding, discovering your creative spark, and watching your unique style shine on canvas.

Led by Paint Monkey owner Joe Groom, a New York City native with Parsons training and years in the art world, these classes are equal parts skill and escape. Joe’s laid-back, approachable style makes painting feel fun, not intimidating.

You’ll learn brushwork, color theory, design, and composition—while turning that vacation photo, favorite landscape, or inspiring image into a work of art you’ll be proud to show off.

After school creativity for kids ages 6-12.

This year we have a fun new format.

Four different stations where the kids can pick their activities.

Kids can choose from canvas painting, clay, drawing & mixed media.

Each of the six weeks will be themed.

This camp focuses on building skills and confidence in painting and drawing while encouraging kids to follow their own creative ideas. Young artists will experiment with a variety of paints, drawing materials, and techniques—along with other fun art projects mixed in throughout the week. The emphasis is on exploration, self-expression, and enjoying the creative process, rather than making one “perfect” finished piece.

All sessions are five days a week. Drop off for camp is between 8:30-9am.  All the fun will begin at 9am and end at 1pm.

Appropriate for ages 6 through 12.

Cost per week will be $400+tax.

This payment is for a non-refundable deposit which holds your seat. The $300+tax balance will be due closer to the date for camp.

Mixed Media camp is all about creative exploration and combining materials in fun, unexpected ways. Campers will work with a variety of art forms—such as collage, painting, drawing, and other hands-on projects—layering techniques and materials to create unique artwork. This camp encourages curiosity, experimentation, and freedom to create pieces that reflect each child’s interests and imagination.

All sessions are five days a week. Drop off for camp is between 8:30-9am.  All the fun will begin at 9am and end at 1pm.
