Experiment with monoprinting techniques.

Lesson Overview:

1. Introduction to Monoprinting (10 minutes):

Discuss the uniqueness of monoprints and show examples.

2. Demonstration (10 minutes):

Show how to create monoprints using a smooth surface.

3. Activity (60 minutes):

Students create their own monoprints, exploring different effects.

4. Clean-Up & Sharing (10 minutes):

Clean up and share monoprints with the group.

Sometimes our schedules don't synch with a six-week commitment to a class - or maybe you want to see if this is something that you'd like (you can always sign up for the whole series). 

We wanted to make an individual session available to those folks.

The thing with this is, if you have artwork you'd like to have sketched for the session, we must have it three (3) days before the class (Example: if you want to come to the September 12 class, we would need your artwork by September 9)

Paint your pet in a 3-hour class. Send us a jpg of your dog, cat, bird or whatever to have pre-sketched on a canvas and waiting for you when you arrive at the studio (one pet per canvas). To allow us adequate time to sketch your best buddy, please submit your photo to: info@beapaintmonkey.com, no later than five days prior to the date (the earlier the better).
