KIDS CAN COOK AND BAKE, TOO! "DUELING MUFFINS"
 

Every kid should have a well-rounded cooking experience and every kid should be able to bake a great muffin.  Did you know there is a "muffin mixing method"?  Well, you will, after this class AND you'll be able to DO it.

In this class, you will learn from Executive Chef Anthony Santos all about muffins and how to execute a perfect one from the expected flavors to well...something a little different.

Chef Santos is a trained pastry chef and has cooked and learned all over the world. He also taught at the now-closed Sage Culinary Studio so teaching kids is also a favorite of his.

AGE RANGE: 8 to 13

Class includes hands-on instruction, all food prepared and recipes.

 

Children must wear closed toe shoes and have hair pulled back from the face.

Class will cover kitchen safety, safe food handling and preparation, cooking and/or baking techniques.

Think it's hard to make pasta!  Not so and you'll be amazed how easy it is after you make it once...you might not ever buy pasta again! 

We'll make two different handmade shapes (short and long)...think rustic not machine turned.  Then we've got to have sauce so we'll also throw together a couple of fast and easy sauces to go along with it.

Pasta 101 is a prerequisite for the Ravioli Workshop and Tortellini Workshop.
