Think it's hard to make pasta!  Not so and you'll be amazed how easy it is after you make it once...you might not ever buy pasta again! 

We'll make two different handmade shapes (short and long)...think rustic not machine turned.  Then we've got to have sauce so we'll also throw together a couple of fast and easy sauces to go along with it. 

This two hour class includes hands-on instruction, all food prepared, recipes, and complimentary wine pairings.

Pasta 101 is a prerequisite for the Ravioli Workshop and Tortellini Workshop.

Who wants to learn about some new wines?!

If you do, then join us for the first of many wine class experiences with Sommelier Joe Breaux and his new online wine store, Bevio.

During this unique tasting and learning opportunity, you will experience and learn about 6 (six) wines from France's Rhône Valley with small bites prepared by Chef Candace.

As the second largest wine-growing region in France, the vineyards thrive on both sides of the eponymous Rhône river. Some of the most famous wines in the world come from there. The diversity of the wine-growing areas, due to the complex soils and variations of the Mediterranean climate, gives the Rhône Valley wines their unique character.

Mostly reds, the wines of the Rhône are divided into three colors. In the north, robust but fine reds and aromatic whites. In the south, more full-bodied reds, expressive whites and round and fruity rosés. Sweet wines complete this large range.

When Chef Candace travels to Italy, she spends time at Agriturismo Emidio Pepe in the Abruzzo region.  Emidio Pepe is a legend in the wine community and was one of the first proponents of biodynamic viticulture. Pepe wines (Montepulciano, Trebbiano, and Pecorino) are not available for purchase in Oklahoma but the lucky guests at this dinner will have the opportunity to experience them because Chef Candace is bringing them back with her.

Dinner courses will include everything from risotto to the famous timpano and beyond.

You will NOT be cooking...it's a real dinner.

So if you’re one of those people who has been asking when I’m going to do a knife skills class, this one’s for you! 

Now, you can focus on honing your knife skills for a full two-hours!  That’s kitchen humor…you’ll be ”honing” your knife skills, get it?

Remember...the focus is on a super important SKILL!.

Paella?  Yes, Paella! 

And, that is a picture from one of the many times we have made paella in our workshops...look delicious?  You bet it is! 

That classic Spanish rice dish that seems so complicated that you would never attempt it.  Well, those days are over.  We are going to tackle paella and when we're finished...you will, once again, wonder why you ever thought you couldn't do it! 

We also include a couple of small bites to go along with the paella just to round out the menu.

This two-hour class includes hands-on instruction, all food prepared, recipes, complimentary wine pairings and DELICIOUS FUN!

And, you are always welcome to bring your favorite beverage of choice.

WINE TASTING WITH SMALL BITES - WINES OF ARGENTINA
 

Who wants to learn about some new wines?!

If you do, then join us for the first of many wine class experiences with Sommelier Joe Breaux and his new online wine store, Bevio.

During this unique tasting and learning opportunity, you will experience and learn about 6 (six) wines from Argentina with small bites prepared by Chef Candace.

Over the past decade Argentina has evolved from a country not well known on the global wine scene to the New World’s fastest growing exporter of wines. The leading grape in Argentina in terms of reputation and quantity is Malbec, a Bordeaux variety imported to Argentina from France in the mid 19th century. Other red varieties produced in Argentina include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Bonarda (known as Charbono in its native Italy), Syrah, Tempranillo and Pinot Noir. Among white wines, the Argentinian wine region’s signature grape is Torrontés, which yields a floral, tropical-tasting wine. The country also produces Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio.

Looking for a different way to spend the evening with that special someone?

Come wine and dine that new person in your life or spice up that same old dating routine by taking a culinary adventure. 

We'll take a short trip via the grill to learn about the foods and grilling styles of Italy.  We'll have steak with garlic and herbs, bruschetta and asparagus wrapped in prosciutto and all from the grill.

This two-hour, hands-on class includes all food prepared, recipes. and complimentary wine pairings.  And, you are always welcome to bring your beverage of choice. 

Price is per couple. $130 for TWO people.
