  • Permission to Photograph

    The Art Bash Studio retains the right to photograph any party or event, participant and participant's artwork and reproduce the images at its discretion without incurring obligations.

  • CHURCH FELLOWSHIP ORGANIZATIONS

    If your party is a church/synagogue fellowship or sisterhood group, and your church organization is paying for your art party, you may be eligible for our weekday/night discount of ONLY $25 per painter....minimum of 12. PLEASE CALL TO DISCUSS our "Faith, Fellowship and Fun Art" parties. Note: not all of our paintings are offered at this discounted rate, and our sangria is not included in the price.

     

  • I WON A RESERVATION TO AN OPEN PUBLIC pARTy. ARE THERE ANY RESTRICTIONS?

    Yes, these "rewards" are reservations  that  may NOT be used for ANY type of FUNdraiser or our "from the heART BASH" events, BOGOs, pet painting parties OR for private parties. Intended for OPEN PUBLIC pARTies ONLY when seats are available. There is NO cash value. If you win a "reservation for two", the reservation is for only one pARTy. This is NOT one res for two separate pARTies. Other restrictions may apply and are subject to change without notice. YOU WILL NEED TO CALL 484.3438 TO RESERVE YOUR SEAT.

  • What about FUNdraisers at the studio?

    We will host FUNdraisers, but effective MARCH 2017, THESE pARTies MUST BE PRIVATE EVENTS. You MUST call to discuss options. FUNdraisers are for non-profit organizations, and WE RESTRICT these events to ONE PER MONTH January 2 through approx November 15. NO FUNdraisers will be scheduled during the Christmas holiday season beginning with Thanksgiving Day. EFFECTIVE DECEMBER 2014: Any FUNdraiser on a SATURDAY must be finished painting by 4:00. No Friday evening or Saturday evening FUNdraisers. Sunday FUNdraisers may not begin before 3:00 pm. IF RESERVATIONS DO NOT MEET THE STUDIO'S REQUIRED MINIMUM of 12 the event will become a regular art party and not a fundraiser. The organization is responsible for COLLECTING the reservation money....no online reservations accepted. NO REFUNDS or pARTy credit given for no-shows.  FUNdraisers are BYOB ONLY. The Art Bash Studio does NOT provide sangria for these events.

    Communication is KEY to a successful FUNdraiser. Please speak with us often up to the time of your event. We want to help every step of the way.

    The content of ALL invitations, evites, FB posts, etc. MUST BE APPROVED by The Art Bash Studio!

  • What is a "from the heART BASH" event?

    This is a charitable event where the cost to paint with us is discounted but INCLUDES a gift to be donated to a cause chosen by The Art Bash Studio. Please do not forget to bring the requested gift, OR YOU WILL NEED TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $20 TO PAINT.  NO PARTY CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN. Includes sangria as always. A "from the heART BASH" is often a non-profit event for The Art Bash and may not be requested.

  • What about groups that are too small in number for private parties?

    Don't have the minimum number of painters to have a private party? NO WORRIES! Small groups are encouraged to join our scheduled OPEN PUBLIC pARTies. Call to let us know you all will be attending, and we will SEAT YOU TOGETHER. You may provide this info in the comment section when you make your reservations. YOU MAY ALSO REQUEST AN OPEN PUBLIC pARTy. You can help us pick the date and painting! CALL 484.3438 TO DISCUSS THIS OPTION for small groups.

  • WHAT IF I AM LATE TO AN ART PARTY?


    OUT OF RESPECT FOR THE OTHER ATTENDEES WHO ARE IN PLACE AND READY TO BEGIN PAINTING, PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME, PREFERABLY 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE PUBLISHED START TIME.  ANYONE WHO IS MORE THAN 15 MINUTES LATE MAY NOT BE ALLOWED TO PAINT AND WILL LOSE THEIR RESERVATION.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION.

  • What if I am unable to attend the art party and no-show my reservation?

    PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: As a courtesy to our patrons, The Art Bash Studio allows credit for a no-show. EXCEPTIONS: BOGO offers, "from the heART BASH" events, FUNdraisers and pet painting pARTies.  And, PRIVATE pARTies should your no-show cause the pARTy to fall below its required minimum! Otherwise, your name will be placed in a file, and you may use your credit by calling in your next reservation to 484.3438. We allow 2 users of credit per art party, space available.  Credit has NO cash value...EXAMPLE: If you have credit for a $45 party and want to attend a $35 party, YOU WILL HAVE USED YOUR CREDIT. The remaining $10 WILL NOT BE REFUNDED OR ACCRUED.  PARTY CREDIT MUST BE USED WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF THE ORIGINAL RESERVATION/PARTY, AND YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON WHO MAY USE YOUR CREDIT. NO EXCEPTIONS. You will need to CALL 484.3438 to make your res.

  • What is furnished for painters at The Art Bash Studio?

     We provide the canvas and ALL other supplies including brushes, paint, smocks/aprons. For our adult pARTies, we will also offer some SANGRIA which, at this time, is INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. In addition, we also provide at NO ADDITIONAL COST to you: ICE, cups, PURIFIED WATER and popcorn!

  • What if I can't paint? What if I'm not artistic?

    No artistic skills are required, but a sense of humor is.  Even if you think that you can’t paint a straight line, you will be surprised at what you can create with the assistance of our wonderful artists.  Your art coach for the class will guide the group through basic steps in creating the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your own masterpiece by the end of the class.  There are no “mistakes”, but acrylic paint dries very quickly and you can change anything that you want to perfect.

  • Does everyone at the party paint the same painting? Can I paint something different?

    Everyone will paint the SAME subject because it’s a step-by-step process where everyone paints along with the art coach.   However, you may wish to change some color to personalize your art. If you venture too far from the artwork being instructed, then please understand our artist(s) cannot take time away from others to assist you should you require alot of extra attention.

  • When should I arrive for the party?

    We recommend that you arrive 15 to 20 minutes before class to allow you to enjoy a beverage and to mingle with your art coach and fellow artists.  Everything will be set up for you prior to the painting party beginning.  If you have a small group, we will seat you all together if you will provide the names in your group.

  • What if I have had some painting experience?

    Some people come to the parties just because of the easy access to canvas and supplies and to join their friends at the party. You are welcome to go in any creative direction you like - change colors or composition.  Make it your own your "masterpiece"! Please be mindful, however, that our artist cannot give extra attention to those not following our step by step process.

  • What should I wear?

    Wear anything comfortable, KEEPING IN MIND THAT SPILLS AND SPLATTER HAPPEN IN OUR STUDIO!!!  We provide painter’s aprons that help cover your clothing, but ACRYLIC PAINT AND RED WINE WILL PROBABLY NOT COME OUT OF FABRIC, so dress accordingly. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CLOTHING, SHOES, PURSES, PHONES OR ANYTHING ELSE YOU CHOOSE TO WEAR OR BRING IN TO OUR PAINT AND PARTY SPACE.

  • Can I bring food or beverages? What does the studio provide?

     We INCLUDE in the price to paint: ICE, cups, BOTTLED WATER, popcorn and SANGRIA! You may bring any other food/snack and soft drink that you like. The ENMARKET convenience store close to us on Waters Ave has soda dispensers and a very good coffee bar. You my also BYOB...wine/beer....and we will have the ice to keep it all chilled :)

  • Do you ever cancel an art bash?

    We hope we never have to cancel an art bash. However, we reserve the right to do so if there are less than 4 reservations OR because of inclement weather. In either case, paid reservation holders will be given credit for a future bash.   

  • On what days and at what times are the parties?

    We have parties beginning at 6:30 PM Monday through Saturday evenings and any time that the studio is available during the day in the summer or on holidays and require pre-registration. Check our calendar for the schedule and availability of all parties. 

    We may be able to offer an OPEN PUBLIC pARTy by request as long as there are 4 painters willing to make their paid reservations immediately.

  • How do I find the studio?

    We are located at 7704 Waters Avenue between Mall Boulevard and Eisenhower, across from Wang's II and GEICO in the strip center whwre Curves is located.  There is plenty of free, WELL LIGHTED PARKING IN A VERY SAFE AND SECURE AREA. See the map oin the "Location" tab on our website.

  • When do you post a new monthly calendar?

    New paintings and art party schedules are typically posted by the middle of the preceding month, but often only two weeks ahead. If you have at least 4 interested in us offering a particular painting and/or want to request we offer a party on a particular date, PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL CONNIE TO DISCUSS. We may be able to post your request on the calendar as an OPEN PUBLIC pARTy.

  • Are there minimum age requirements?

    Yes, the age limit for an open art party is 18 or older.  Please note that it is the law that you have to be 21 to consume our sangria, so BRING YOUR ID. You may be asked to show it if you appear to be under age. The minimum age for FAMILY TIME is 8 (sometimes older when applicable). All children attending PRIVATE pARTies MUST BE A PAID PAINTER.

    NO CHILDREN under the age of 8 allowed, INCLUDING INFANTS..

  • How do I register and pay for an event?

    Go to the calendar page and click on the image on the date or the particular painting that you would like to paint. You will then be directed to an online shopping cart where you will complete your reservation. If it's your first time to our site, you will need to set up an account with a password.
    The calendar will show how many seats are available for that particular event.  If there are no seats available, there will be an option to sign up for the Wait List for that event and you will be notified by email if seats become available.  You can then return to the calendar and proceed with the sign up. If you register for the Wait List, your credit card is not charged.         

  • Why do I have to pay when I reserve my seat?

    The process of registering for an event is like buying theater or sporting event tickets online.  We need to know the number of attendees in order to make plans for the party.           

  • Is my information safe?

    Our online payment system is secure, fast and easy and will guarantee that your registration is processed immediately. All information that you provide to us is completely safe and we will not provide your information to any third parties.  We will only use your email address to send you reminders, promotions, and news about The Art Bash Studio.   

  • Do you offer GIFT CERTIFICATES?

    Gift certificates are available and make great  gifts for any occasion. WE MAKE GIFT GIVING EASY FOR YOU! You may purchase them ONLINE on the CALENDAR PAGE   and  print them out to include in a card OR email to the recipient on the date of your choice. Each gift certificate has a unique code your gift recipient uses when making a reservation.

  • What if someone does not have internet service? Can they register by phone?

    You can check for availability by calling 912.484.3438. Reservations are only CONFIRMED by registering and paying online, by phone or by visiting our location and paying by cash/credit card. You also may arrive 30 minutes before any event to take an available seat. However, please call before arriving so we can prepare your place.

  • How can I cancel/change a class if I am within your cancellation policy?

    1) Sign into your on-line account and click on “My Classes

    2) Find the class you are canceling and click "Change” 

    3) Click on the box in front of the registered name.

    4) Click on the appropriated choice

    When you finish, your account will show an account credit. Refunds are given only as class credit. For your next purchase, the shopping cart will NOT automatically apply the credit and deduct the cost of your purchase from your account credit before it charges your credit card.  YOU MUST CLICK ON THE BUTTON IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PAGE “APPLY ACCOUNT CREDIT”.

  • What about groups that want to attend?

    Reservations may be made by one individual for as many seats as are remaining for any event, but payment is made for all seats at that time.  Reservations may also be made individually as well, but please message us with a list of names if you would like to be seated next to certain attendees. And/or call us for any other special arrangements @ 912.484.3438.   

  • What about PRIVATE PARTIES and team building?

    DEPOSIT MAY OR MAY NOT BE REQUIRED. CALL FOR CLARIFICATION. 484.3438

    Book on Monday through Thursday for a discounted price! EXCEPT for holidays. YOUR pARTy MUST HAVE AT LEAST 10 ATTENDING TO RECEIVE THE DISCOUNT.
    AND,  for  our SEPT AND OCT SPECIAL, if at least 10 paid reservations have been made ONE WEEK BEFORE your party, YOU may PAINT for FREE! 

    Let The Art Bash put the ART in your next pARTy! We are the perfect venue for private parties and they can be scheduled at your convenience, day or night.  Your party will include some socializing time before the painting begins, and you may bring food and beverages and any utensils and other party needs.  Monday through Thursday, the minimum number required for a private party is 10 painters for either of our studio rooms.  ON FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS, the minimum number for a private party is 10 or 15 painters with a maximum of approx. 30 in our main studio room. If two parties need the main room, the min is 15 and is given to the party who pays for the min of 15 first. The minimum is 10 painters with a maximum of 13/14 in our smaller studio room.   (AND 8 FOR PARTIES THAT BEGIN BEFORE 2:00 EXCEPT ON SATURDAYS OR SUNDAYS) The same cost applies at $35 plus tax per person for a 2 - 2.5 hr art party or $45 plus tax per person for a 3-3.5 hr art party. 

    WE MUST HAVE AT LEAST THE REQUIRED MINIMUM NUMBER OF RESERVATIONS PAID 7 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT Checking the number of paid reservations is the responsibility of the party organizer 7 days prior to the party's date. Otherwise, we reserve the right to open the art party up to anyone who would like to join in, and/or move your party to our smaller studio room, if available, and cap the number of attendees @ 14. OR, WE MAY ALSO NEED TO CANCEL THE pARTy.  NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS GIVEN...NO EXCEPTIONS. We MAY be able to reschedule to a future date.

    If the party organizer asks us NOT to open to the public, A CREDIT CARD NUMBER MUST THEN BE PLACED ON FILE WITH US, and that credit card WILL BE CHARGED at the time the party begins for the number of seats below the required private party minimum.

    VERY IMPORTANT: If the private party's organizer wishes to cancel, this MUST be done by email AT LEAST 8 DAYS BEFORE the scheduled party date.

     

    PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT IF YOU REQUEST US TO RESERVE BOTH STUDIO ROOMS ON A FRIDAY OR SATURDAY AND HAVE LESS THAN 30 ATTENDEES, YOU WILL BE CHARGED $125 TO PAY FOR THE ARTIST STANDING BY.

    As a courtesy to our patrons, The Art Bash Studio allows credit for a no-show. HOWEVER, IN LIEU OF A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT, NO PARTY CREDIT WILL BE GIVEN TO ANYONE THAT FAILS TO SHOW UP AND DROPS THE NUMBER OF ATTENDEES BELOW THE MINIMUM, even if we open it to the public....NO exceptions for ANY reason. Please do not ask.

    NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN TO PRIVATE PARTIES THAT ARE CANCELLED WITH LESS THAN 48 HOURS NOTICE....NO exceptions for ANY reason. Please do not ask.

    If you reschedule your party from a weekend date to a weekday/eve date, the price will not change for those holding paid reservations and the price they paid will hold for all.  In addition, you will not receive the weekday/eve  discounted rate if you reschedule to a weekend date. Those holding paid reservations will owe the difference.

    PLEASE READ BELOW OUR POLICY ON BEING LATE.

    When possible, we will bring the pARTy to your location if necessary. The charge is typically $35 pp for 2.5 hr paintings and $45 pp for 3.5 hr paintings per painter with a 25 painter minimum.

    EVERYONE attending adult parties must be participating as  a painter, unless prior arrangements are made. 

    NO CHILDREN may attend any party UNLESS THEY ARE PARTICIPATING as a paid painter. MINIMUM AGE to paint with us is 8 unless prior arrangements have been made.

    NO INFANTS or toddlers may be in the studio at any time. No exceptions.

    For most pARTies, we offer Sangria included in the price to paint. The Sangria is provided for the 30 minute social time before we are scheduled to begin painting, UNTIL 30 minutes before the party SHOULD be wrapping up. This is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. YOU ARE WELCOMED TO BYOB wine or beer. We will provide ICE to keep it all chilled.

    THERE IS A $50 CHARGE FOR OUR ARTISTS TO CREATE A SPECIAL PAINTING FOR YOUR PARTY and the composition must be within our time constraints.          

     

  • PAINT YOUR PAWS & CLAWS Art Party Info...

    MUST be prepaid online before photo is enlarged and printed.

    • Please meet deadline to submit photo. This info is in the description of the art party when making your reservation. If we do not receive your photo by the deadline, you may lose your reservation and be given art party credit for a future PYP&C Art Party.
    • We need your high resolution DIGITAL IMAGE (jpeg format) emailed AS AN ATTACHMENT to: fun@artbashstudio.com. 
    • You may paint only ONE PET at each art party.
    • If your reservation is for more than one person, please submit a separate photo for each painter.
    • Your pet's image will be cut away from ALL background and adhered to a 16X20 canvas vertically or horizonally. Our artists will decide which looks best.
    • How the image is cut out and adhered to the canvas is at the discretion of our artists.  Photos will be cropped so YOU WILL PAINT CHEST AND HEAD ONLY unless approved by the artists before printing.
    • Best type of image will feature your pet front and center without interference of people or objects such as grass, leashes, beds, bowls, etc
    • Minor small wrinkles may occur as part of the drying process. Adds character and depth, but will probably not be noticeable after painting.
    • Your art instructor will guide you through painting your background and painting color over your pet's black & white image.
    • These art parties are designed to create fun and whimsical artwork. This is not a serious pet portrait painting class.
    • There is NO REFUND after the deadline to submit your photo, ONLY ART PARTY CREDIT. NO EXCEPTIONS.
