  Looking for a unique and fun way to spend an evening with your partner? Join us for our Date Night Pottery Class! This handbuilding class is perfect for couples who want to create something special together. Whether you're crafting heart bowls, animal figurines, small vases, salt and pepper shakers, tiles, or anything else you can imagine, our talented instructor is here to help bring your ideas to life. Just bring a picture of what you want to make, and we'll guide you through the process. Each person gets two pounds of clay to work with, and if you need more, additional clay can be purchased at $5 per pound. This class is ideal for those who aren't quite ready for wheel throwing but still want to experience the joy of working with clay in a therapeutic and low-key environment. Come and enjoy a creative evening with your loved one, and take home a beautiful piece of art that you made together.

  To make your pieces food-safe and durable, you have the option to register for a "Paint Your Own Pottery" session.

Get ready to dive into the wildly enjoyable world of wheel-throwing pottery!

This session is perfect for beginners itching to unleash their inner artist. You'll learn the nitty-gritty of clay preparation, centering it on the wheel, tool preparation and the basics of making a small bowl!  No experience? No problem! Everyone's invited to join the pottery party!

This class includes all the tools and instruction needed to make a small bowl. It does not include a glazed and fired piece. This class is meant to teach you a new skill and provides instruction and the tools to do as such. By the end of the session you MIGHT have a piece that is considered Greenware. Which means you cannot eat out of this piece and it will be fragile. You can take pieces home the same day if you make one and it can be a small decorative piece for memories sake. In order to make your pieces food-safe and durable, you can register for a second session, called "Paint Your Own Pottery". In this class you will learn about the kiln process, glazes, and how to customize the color and design of your pieces. The "Paint Your Own Pottery" session can be scheduled anytime after 3 days of this class. 

This class does not guarantee you will leave with a piece. We will make every effort to ensure that you leave with a piece, but it is not guaranteed. All customers will be told to take their pieces home. We will send you home with a paper plate and a paper bag if available We do not provided boxes. The glazing process for ceramic classes 

When you make your piece you will be sent home with it. You can bring a small box for your creation or we will send you back with a small plate to carry your piece on. We do not guarantee boxes will be available. If you leave your piece with us we will paint your piece and fire it for you. It will be ready for pick up three weeks after you leave it with us. We will NOT call you to let you know when it’s done. It will be done after three weeks and you can stop by during studio hours for pick up

The glazing process for ceramic classes 

When you make your piece you will be sent home with it. You can bring a small box for your creation or we will send you back with a small plate to carry your piece on. We do not guarantee boxes will be available. If you leave your piece with us we will paint your piece and fire it for you. It will be ready for pick up three weeks after you leave it with us. We will NOT call you to let you know when it’s done. It will be done after three weeks and you can stop by during studio hours for pick u

Lastly, we do not have coat racks. Everything you bring will have to either be hung on the back of your seat or place under your chair we will not provide tables for storage.

90-Minute Introductory Workshop |

Unleash your creativity through the luminous art of glass fusing. In this beginner-friendly 1.5-hour class, you'll design and create a simple yet stunning square glass container using a variety of glass materials and layering techniques.

You’ll work with:

• Fusible sheet glass – the base for your project, available in multiple colors

• Glass frit – crushed glass in different grain sizes for texture and shading

• Stringers and rods – thin, colorful glass strands for detailed linework

• Classes begin promptly 10 minutes after the scheduled time.

Unleash your creativity through the luminous art of glass fusing. In this beginner-friendly 1.5-hour class, you'll design and create a simple yet stunning square glass container using a variety of glass materials and layering techniques.

The glazing process for ceramic classes 

When you make your piece you will be sent home with it. You can bring a small box for your creation or we will send you back with a small plate to carry your piece on. We do not guarantee boxes will be available. If you leave your piece with us we will paint your piece and fire it for you. It will be ready for pick up three weeks after you leave it with us. We will NOT call you to let you know when it’s done. It will be done after three weeks and you can stop by during studio hours for pick up

Get ready to dive into the wildly enjoyable world of wheel-throwing pottery!

This session is perfect for beginners itching to unleash their inner artist. You'll learn the nitty-gritty of clay preparation, centering it on the wheel, tool preparation and the basics of making a small bowl!  No experience? No problem! Everyone's invited to join the pottery party!

This class includes all the tools and instruction needed to make a small bowl. It does not include a glazed and fired piece. This class is meant to teach you a new skill and provides instruction and the tools to do as such. By the end of the session you MIGHT have a piece that is considered Greenware. Which means you cannot eat out of this piece and it will be fragile. You can take pieces home the same day if you make one and it can be a small decorative piece for memories sake. In order to make your pieces food-safe and durable, you can register for a second session, called "Paint Your Own Pottery". In this class you will learn about the kiln process, glazes, and how to customize the color and design of your pieces. The "Paint Your Own Pottery" session can be scheduled anytime after 3 days of this class.

1. Our Wheel Throwing classes are very messy. Especially for newcomers. We highly suggest wearing clothes that you can get dirty. Or bring an oversize shirt to wear over the clothes you are currently wearing. We do provide cloth aprons as well as plastic disposable aprons, which are on sale for 1$ at check-in. We accept cash app, Zelle or cash.

2. If you would like to have your own bucket to wash your hands of clay. Please feel free to bring a small plastic container. Otherwise, we do have public wash bins and individual sinks with soap and water after using the public wash to remove the clay from your hands. Most people do not have an issue with this. However, please feel free to bring your own bucket if you do.

3. Apparently, Google maps has been leading people to the old location. Our new studio is right next to Bobijoa Korean Kitchen. And across the street from Chicago Tattoo.

Please leave with enough time to find parking. parking in Chicago can be very difficult.

The glazing process for ceramic classes 

When you make your piece you will be sent home with it. You can bring a small box for your creation or we will send you back with a small plate to carry your piece on. We do not guarantee boxes will be available. If you leave your piece with us we will paint your piece and fire it for you. It will be ready for pick up three weeks after you leave it with us. We will NOT call you to let you know when it’s done. It will be done after three weeks and you can stop by during studio hours for pick up

Each class is two hours. If your class starts at 5:30, please be off of the wheel or the table by 7:30. As we have another class that takes place at that time. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions. We truly hope you enjoy your class at color cocktail factory.

Unleash your creativity through the luminous art of glass fusing. In this beginner-friendly 1.5-hour class, you'll design and create a simple yet stunning square glass light catcher using a variety of glass materials and layering techniques.

Get ready to dive into the wildly enjoyable world of wheel-throwing pottery!

This session is perfect for beginners itching to unleash their inner artist. You'll learn the nitty-gritty of clay preparation, centering it on the wheel, tool preparation and the basics of making a small bowl!  No experience? No problem! Everyone's invited to join the pottery party!

This class includes all the tools and instruction needed to make a small bowl. It does not include a glazed and fired piece. This class is meant to teach you a new skill and provides instruction and the tools to do as such. By the end of the session you MIGHT have a piece that is considered Greenware. Which means you cannot eat out of this piece and it will be fragile. You can take pieces home the same day if you make one and it can be a small decorative piece for memories sake. In order to make your pieces food-safe and durable, you can register for a second session, called "Paint Your Own Pottery". In this class you will learn about the kiln process, glazes, and how to customize the color and design of your pieces. The "Paint Your Own Pottery" session can be scheduled anytime after 3 days of this class. 

This class does not guarantee you will leave with a piece. We will make every effort to ensure that you leave with a piece, but it is not guaranteed. All customers will be told to take their pieces home. We will send you home with a paper plate and a paper bag if available We do not provided boxes. If you would prefer, please feel free to bring your  own box to take your pieces home. We do have options for Bisque Fire, which is five dollars apiece. • This class ranges from 2.5~3.5 hours depending on the length of the wheel throwing class chosen 

  No Groupons. If a Groupon is used we will cancel your class and still charge you for the class price.
  Ever wanted to combine our pottery sessions with our painting sessions in one day? Now you can! We are so excited to now offer this option to chose any one of our classes that occur at the time indicated , create your piece in the first two hours and then the last hour paint it as you wish! Save yourself a trip to come back and no more waiting days to paint your piece we will give you a heat gun to dry your piece so that it’s ready to paint the same day that you create it! The ultimate convenience package for anyone! With the purchase of this ticket you will be allowed access to any pottery class (except for vase making) and will have two hours to make your piece you will then be given 1.5 hours to dry and paint your piece. You will then leave the piece with us and pick it up after 3 weeks appointed hours! We will keep glazed pieces for 60 days! Look into a private lesson class. If you do not feel comfortable being in a space with a lot of people, please feel free to message me and I will move your class to a different time or date for you. 1. Our Wheel Throwing classes are very messy. Especially for newcomers. We highly suggest wearing clothes that you can get dirty. Or bring an oversize shirt to wear over the clothes you are currently wearing. We do provide cloth aprons as well as plastic disposable aprons, which are on sale for 1$ at check-in. We accept cash app, Zelle or cash.

2. If you would like to have your own bucket to wash your hands of clay. Please feel free to bring a small plastic container. Otherwise, we do have public wash bins and individual sinks with soap and water after using the public wash to remove the clay from your hands. Most people do not have an issue with this. However, please feel free to bring your own bucket if you do.

The glazing process for ceramic classes 

When you make your piece you will be sent home with it. You can bring a small box for your creation or we will send you back with a small plate to carry your piece on. We do not guarantee boxes will be available. If you leave your piece with us we will paint your piece and fire it for you. It will be ready for pick up three weeks after you leave it with us. We will NOT call you to let you know when it’s done. It will be done after three weeks and you can stop by during studio hours for pick up

Save yourself a trip to come back and no more waiting days to paint your piece we will give you a heat gun to dry your piece so that it’s ready to paint the same day that you create it! The ultimate convenience package for anyone! With the purchase of this ticket you will be allowed access to any pottery class (except for vase making) and will have two hours to make your piece you will then be given 1.5 hours to dry and paint your piece. You will then leave the piece with us and pick it up after 3 weeks appointed hours! We will keep glazed pieces for 60 days! 2. If you would like to have your own bucket to wash your hands of clay. Please feel free to bring a small plastic container. Otherwise, we do have public wash bins and individual sinks with soap and water after using the public wash to remove the clay from your hands. Most people do not have an issue with this. However, please feel free to bring your own bucket if you do.

When you make your piece you will be sent home with it. You can bring a small box for your creation or we will send you back with a small plate to carry your piece on. We do not guarantee boxes will be available. If you leave your piece with us we will paint your piece and fire it for you. It will be ready for pick up three weeks after you leave it with us. We will NOT call you to let you know when it’s done. It will be done after three weeks and you can stop by during studio hours for pick up

Get ready to dive into the wildly enjoyable world of wheel-throwing pottery!

This session is perfect for beginners itching to unleash their inner artist. You'll learn the nitty-gritty of clay preparation, centering it on the wheel, tool preparation and the basics of making a small bowl!  No experience? No problem! Everyone's invited to join the pottery party!

This class includes all the tools and instruction needed to make a small bowl. It does not include a glazed and fired piece. This class is meant to teach you a new skill and provides instruction and the tools to do as such. By the end of the session you MIGHT have a piece that is considered Greenware. Which means you cannot eat out of this piece and it will be fragile. You can take pieces home the same day if you make one and it can be a small decorative piece for memories sake. In order to make your pieces food-safe and durable, you can register for a second session, called "Paint Your Own Pottery". In this class you will learn about the kiln process, glazes, and how to customize the color and design of your pieces. The "Paint Your Own Pottery" session can be scheduled anytime after 3 days of this class.

  Glazing isn’t just about looks—it transforms your pottery into a glossy, durable, microwave-safe, oven-safe, and fully food-safe piece of art! Once you’re done painting, we’ll fire your piece at a blazing 2,000°F to lock in your design permanently.

The glazing process for ceramic classes 

When you make your piece you will be sent home with it. You can bring a small box for your creation or we will send you back with a small plate to carry your piece on. We do not guarantee boxes will be available. If you leave your piece with us we will paint your piece and fire it for you. It will be ready for pick up three weeks after you leave it with us. We will NOT call you to let you know when it’s done. It will be done after three weeks and you can stop by during studio hours for pick up

Get ready to dive into the wildly enjoyable world of wheel-throwing pottery!

This session is perfect for beginners itching to unleash their inner artist. You'll learn the nitty-gritty of clay preparation, centering it on the wheel, tool preparation and the basics of making a small bowl!  No experience? No problem! Everyone's invited to join the pottery party!

This class includes all the tools and instruction needed to make a small bowl. It does not include a glazed and fired piece. This class is meant to teach you a new skill and provides instruction and the tools to do as such. By the end of the session you MIGHT have a piece that is considered Greenware. Which means you cannot eat out of this piece and it will be fragile. You can take pieces home the same day if you make one and it can be a small decorative piece for memories sake. In order to make your pieces food-safe and durable, you can register for a second session, called "Paint Your Own Pottery". In this class you will learn about the kiln process, glazes, and how to customize the color and design of your pieces. The "Paint Your Own Pottery" session can be scheduled anytime after 3 days of this class.

  To make your pieces food-safe and durable, you have the option to register for a "Paint Your Own Pottery" session. 

EACH COUPLE WILL SHARE A WHEEL. IF you want an INDIVIDUAL WHEEL YOU CAN PURCHASE THE SPIN CLASS.

This class does not guarantee you will leave with a piece. We will make every effort to ensure that you leave with a piece, but it is not guaranteed. All customers will be told to take their pieces home. We will send you home with a paper plate and a paper bag if needed. If you would prefer, please feel free to bring your  own box to take your pieces home. We do have options for Bisque Fire, which is five dollars apiece. Or we can glaze your piece for $10 each.

1. Our Wheel Throwing classes are very messy. Especially for newcomers. We highly suggest wearing clothes that you can get dirty. Or bring an oversize shirt to wear over the clothes you are currently wearing. We do provide cloth aprons as well as plastic disposable aprons, which are on sale for 1$ at check-in. We accept cash app, Zelle or cash.

2. If you would like to have your own bucket to wash your hands of clay. Please feel free to bring a small plastic container. Otherwise, we do have public wash bins and individual sinks with soap and water after using the public wash to remove the clay from your hands. Most people do not have an issue with this. However, please feel free to bring your own bucket if you do.

3. Apparently, Google maps has been leading people to the old location. Our new studio is right next to Bobijoa Korean Kitchen. And across the street from Chicago Tattoo.

 Please go to our new location located at 1142 W 18th St., Chicago Illinois. 

Please leave with enough time to find parking. parking in Chicago can be very difficult.

We do not provide parking. 

Parking is all paid street parking and can be limited. We highly suggest using public transportation, Being prepared to park and walk a couple blocks, Or use an Uber. Our classes start 10 minutes after the prepared time. And we will not take walk-ins that are late 30 minutes or more. There is a rescheduled fee of $15 per ticket if you are late and if you would like to transfer to a different class at another time. Thank you for your understanding. We want to ensure that everyone gets the amount of class time that they are paying for and taking walk-ins after 30 minutes is not productive for anyone.

The glazing process for ceramic classes 

When you make your piece you will be sent home with it. You can bring a small box for your creation or we will send you back with a small plate to carry your piece on. We do not guarantee boxes will be available. If you leave your piece with us we will paint your piece and fire it for you. It will be ready for pick up three weeks after you leave it with us. We will NOT call you to let you know when it’s done. It will be done after three weeks and you can stop by during studio hours for pick up

Each class is two hours. If your class starts at 5:30, please be off of the wheel or the table by 7:30. As we have another class that takes place at that time. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions. We truly hope you enjoy your class at color cocktail factory.

  Ever wanted to combine our pottery sessions with our painting sessions in one day? Now you can! We are so excited to now offer this option to chose any one of our classes that occur at the time indicated , create your piece in the first two hours and then the last hour paint it as you wish! Save yourself a trip to come back and no more waiting days to paint your piece we will give you a heat gun to dry your piece so that it’s ready to paint the same day that you create it! The ultimate convenience package for anyone! With the purchase of this ticket you will be allowed access to any pottery class (except for vase making) and will have two hours to make your piece you will then be given 1.5 hours to dry and paint your piece. You will then leave the piece with us and pick it up after 3 weeks appointed hours! We will keep glazed pieces for 60 days! A fun option for those looking for a longer experience or even just a more convenient one!

Get ready to dive into the wildly enjoyable world of wheel-throwing pottery!

This session is perfect for beginners itching to unleash their inner artist. You'll learn the nitty-gritty of clay preparation, centering it on the wheel, tool preparation and the basics of making a small bowl!  No experience? No problem! Everyone's invited to join the pottery party!

This class includes all the tools and instruction needed to make a small bowl. It does not include a glazed and fired piece. This class is meant to teach you a new skill and provides instruction and the tools to do as such. By the end of the session you MIGHT have a piece that is considered Greenware. Which means you cannot eat out of this piece and it will be fragile. You can take pieces home the same day if you make one and it can be a small decorative piece for memories sake. In order to make your pieces food-safe and durable, you can register for a second session, called "Paint Your Own Pottery". In this class you will learn about the kiln process, glazes, and how to customize the color and design of your pieces. The "Paint Your Own Pottery" session can be scheduled anytime after 3 days of this class.
