We are fortunate enough to have a very talented local artist by the name of Beth Kauffman agree to teach fused glass workshops. Here's some information on Beth's many talents: Beth Kauffman is a Valrico, Florida resident glass artist, who has been creating beautiful glass pieces for 22 years. Beth was raised in a home with a great love of the arts. Although, Beth initially went on to pursue a career in Business Administration she always made time for art class electives including: copper enameling, drawing, pottery, stained glass, and sketching. Once she had a family, Beth let her passion for stained glass lead her to an alternate career choice, which enabled her to stay at home to raise her family. So she built a home studio, and the rest is history. Beth finds inspiration for her designs in the tropical waters and coastal communities of Florida’s Gulf Coast. Over the years she has participated in, and sold her original work at many arts & craft shows, and she has enjoyed creating custom windows, lamps, and other glass related projects for her clients. Beth has also authored four stained glass pattern books including Illuminations, and Coastal Inspirations, and teaches stained glass classes in copper foil and leaded glass, glass mosaics, and kiln fused glass pendant classes. Now, her fused glass class is being offered exclusively at The Bead Boutique! Come have some fun and share Beth’s passion in this great fused pendant (and earrings too) class and enjoy creating your own wonderful glass masterpieces! | |
