What if I am unable to attend the art party and no-show my reservation?
As a courtesy to our patrons, The Art Bash Studio allows credit for a no-show. Your name will be placed in a file, and you may use your credit by calling in your next reservation to 484.3438. We allow 2 users of credit per art party, space available. You may not use credit toward a fundraiser, or for a private art party until that party has reached its required minimum of paid reservations.
What is the cost to attend an Art Bash Studio party and what is furnished?
The cost per person is $35 plus tax for a 2 hour party and $45 plus tax for a 3 hour party. Most paintings take about 2 hours to complete and the complexity of the painting will determine whether it is 2 or 3 hour party and the duration will be noted on the calendar and during the reservation process. We provide the canvas and all other supplies including brushes, paint, smocks/aprons. We will also offer some Sangria which, at this time, is included in the price. In addition, we have bottled water.
What if I can't paint? What if I'm not artistic?
No artistic skills are required, but a sense of humor is. Even if you think that you can’t paint a straight line, you will be surprised at what you can create with the assistance of our wonderful artists. Your art coach for the class will guide the group through basic steps in creating the featured painting and will ensure that you stay on track to completing your own masterpiece by the end of the class. There are no “mistakes”, but acrylic paint dries very quickly and you can change anything that you want to perfect.
Does everyone at the party paint the same painting? Can I paint something different?
Everyone will paint the SAME subject because it’s a step-by-step process where everyone paints along with the art coach. However, you may wish to change some color to personalize your art. If you venture too far from the artwork being instructed, then please understand our artist(s) cannot take time away from others to assist you should you require alot of extra attention.
When should I arrive for the party?
We recommend that you arrive 15 to 20 minutes before class to allow you to enjoy a beverage and to mingle with your art coach and fellow artists. Everything will be set up for you prior to the painting party beginning. If you have a small group, we will seat you all together if you will provide the names in your group.
What if I have had some painting experience?
Some people come to the parties just because of the easy access to canvas and supplies and to join their friends at the party. You are welcome to go in any creative direction you like - change colors or composition. Make it your own your "masterpiece"! Please be mindful, however, that our artist cannot give extra attention to those not following our step by step process.
What should I wear?
Wear anything comfortable. We provide painter’s aprons to cover your slips and drips. KEEP IN MIND THAT ACRYLIC PAINT DOES NOT COME OUT OF FABRIC, so dress accordingly.
Can I bring food or beverages?
Yes! You may bring any food/snack and soft drink* that you like.*Please note: We have been advised that it is illegal to bring your own bottle of alcoholic beverages (including wine) to any place of business within the city limits of Savannah, even if the business has an alcoholic beverage license, unless the space has been booked for a private event. AGAIN, you may NOT BYOB to an open art party and may be asked to leave with no refund/credit given if you do so. The ENMARK convenience store close to us on Waters Ave has soda dispensers and a very good coffee bar.
Do you ever cancel an art bash?
We hope we never have to cancel an art bash. However, we reserve the right to do so if there are less than 4 reservations OR because of inclement weather. In either case, paid reservation holders will be given credit for a future bash.
On what days and at what times are the parties?
We have parties beginning at 6:30 PM Monday through Saturday evenings and any time that the studio is available during the day in the summer or on holidays and require pre-registration. Check our calendar for the schedule and availability of all parties. Private parties can also be booked at your convenience – see the details below.
How do I find the studio?
WE HAVE MOVED FROM BULL STREET TO OUR NEW AND MORE SPACIOUS LOCATION AT 7704 WATERS AVENUE BETWEEN MALL BOULEVARD AND EISENHOWER, ACROSS FROM WANG'S II AND GEICO IN THE STRIP CENTER WHERE CURVES IS LOCATED. THERE IS PLENTY OF FREE, WELL LIGHTED PARKING IN A VERY SAFE AND SECURE AREA.
Are there minimum age requirements?
Yes, the age limit for an open art party is 15 and anyone under 21 attending must be accompanied by an adult 21 or older. Please note that it is the law that you have to be 21 to consume our sangria, so bring your ID. (A "Family Time" art bash allows ages 11 and up with NO sangria served. Refer to the "Family Time" question.)
How do I register and pay for an event?
Go to the calendar page and click on the image on the date or the particular painting that you would like to paint. You will then be directed to an online shopping cart where you will complete your reservation. If it's your first time to our site, you will need to set up an account with a password.
The calendar will show how many seats are available for that particular event. If there are no seats available, there will be an option to sign up for the Wait List for that event and you will be notified by email if seats become available. You can then return to the calendar and proceed with the sign up. If you register for the Wait List, your credit card is not charged.
What is "FAMILY TIME"?
A "FAMILY TIME" art bash is OPEN for ages 10 and up allowing young people, as well as adults, to paint on the large 16X20 canvases for $30 (instead of $35). NO sangria is served. Everyone is welcomed to bring their favorite soft drink and, as always, we have bottled water available. This is FAMILY TIME, and children may NOT be dropped off. Adult supervision required.
Is my information safe?
Our online payment system is secure, fast and easy and will guarantee that your registration is processed immediately. All information that you provide to us is completely safe and we will not provide your information to any third parties. We will only use your email address to send you reminders, promotions, and news about The Art Bash Studio.
Do you offer GIFT CERTIFICATES?
Gift certificates are available are make great gifts for any occasion. You may purchase them online on the calendar page and print them out with a unique code your gift recipient uses when making a reservation.
What if someone does not have internet service? Can they register by phone?
You can check for availability by calling 912.484.3438. Reservations are only CONFIRMED by registering and paying online or by visiting our location and paying by cash/credit card. You also may arrive 30 minutes before any event to take an available seat. However, please call before arriving so we can prepare your place.
How can I cancel/change a class if I am within your cancellation policy?
1) Sign into your on-line account and click on “My Classes”
2) Find the class you are canceling and click "Change”
3) Click on the box in front of the registered name.
4) Click on the appropriated choice
When you finish, your account will show an account credit. Refunds are given only as class credit. For your next purchase, the shopping cart will NOT automatically apply the credit and deduct the cost of your purchase from your account credit before it charges your credit card. YOU MUST CLICK ON THE BUTTON IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PAGE “APPLY ACCOUNT CREDIT”.
What about groups that want to attend?
Reservations may be made by one individual for as many seats as are remaining for any event, but payment is made for all seats at that time. Reservations may also be made individually as well, but please message us with a list of names if you would like to be seated next to certain attendees. And/or call us for any other special arrangements @ 912.484.3438.
What about PRIVATE PARTIES and team building?
The Art Bash Studio is the perfect venue for private parties and they can be scheduled at your convenience, day or night. Your party will include some socializing time before the painting begins and you may bring food and beverages and any utensils and other party needs. The minimum number for a private party is 15 painters and the maximum is 26. (FOR A LIMITED TIME, WE WILL ACCEPT A MINIMUM OF 10 FOR EVENING PARTIES AND 6 FOR PARTIES THAT BEGIN BEFORE 2:00) The same cost applies at $35 plus tax per person for a 2 - 2.5 hr art party or $45 plus tax per person for a 3-3.5 hr art party. WE MUST HAVE AT LEAST 10 RESERVATIONS PAID 7 DAYS BEFORE THE EVENT. IF A "NO SHOW" BRINGS THE PARTY BELOW THE REQUIRED MINIMUM, NO CREDIT IS GIVEN TO THAT RESERVATION HOLDER. Otherwise, we reserve the right to open the art party up to anyone who would like to join in. Please call us at 912.484.3438 for additional details and to reserve your party. SUNDAYS REQUIRE A MIN. OF 15@ $35. pp OR A MIN. OF 12 @ $45. pp. Painting on the small canvas meant for children requires a min. of 12 at all times AND SANGRIA IS NOT INCLUDED. Children's parties must begin @ 2:00 or earlier, with an attendance minimum of 12 @ $25 per painter. Minimum age limit for children's events is 8. (Everyone attending adult parties must be participating as a painter, unless prior arrangements are made. All children attending children's event must be participating as a painter and adults supervision is required. Call for info regarding this requirement.) THERE IS A $50. CHARGE FOR OUR ARTISTS TO CREATE A SPECIAL PAINTING FOR YOUR PARTY and the composition must be within our time constraints.

MUST be prepaid online before photo is enlarged and printed.
- Please meet deadline to submit photo. This info is in the description of the art party when making your reservation. If we do not receive your photo by the deadline, you may lose your reservation and be given art party credit for a future PYP&C Art Party.
- Email photo AS AN ATTACHMENT to: firstname.lastname@example.org
- You may paint only ONE PET at each art party.
- If your reservation is for more than one person, please submit a separate photo for each painter.
- Your pet's image will be cut away from ALL background and adhered to a 16X20 canvas vertically or horizonally. Our artists will decide which looks best.
- How the image is cut out and adhered to the canvas is at the discretion of our artists. Face only, with no body, may look best at times.
- Best type of image will feature your pet front and center without interference of people or objects such as grass, leashes, beds, bowls, etc
- Minor small wrinkles may occur as part of the drying process. Adds character and depth, but will probably not be noticeable after painting.
- Your art instructor will guide you through painting your background and painting color over your pet's black & white image.
- These art parties are designed to create fun and whimsical artwork. This is not a serious pet portrait painting class.
- There is NO REFUND after the deadline to submit your photo, ONLY ART PARTY CREDIT. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Did you change the studio's name?
YES! The Art Bash Studio (formerly The Art Buzz Studio) is our fun new name, but we are the SAME FUN PLACE! The name change was needed so we could trademark our studio's name. Our attorney is now much happier ;)!
