WELCOME TO CAMP! Our Discovery Camp programs are based on the overall philosophy that young people benefit from experiences in the outdoors. By combining outdoor recreation with science and learning, our campers leave each day happy, full of knowledge, and more often than not, really tired! After a day spent building forts, hiking through the woods and splashing in creeks, don't be surprised to see your child fall asleep in the backseat on the way home! Along the way he or she will develop a greater awareness and appreciation for the natural world and how they fit within it. We hope you'll join us in celebrating our fifth year providing learning opportunities that cultivate a sense of adventure, foster an enthusiasm for exploration and promote environmental awareness. - Jonathan Marchal, Youth Education Coordinator (Back to the top) CONTRIBUTIONS Individual, corporate and foundation gifts play a vital role in sustaining and advancing the Arboretum's mission and goals.
